You are invited to an evening of Speed-Friending, to expand your circle of local friends! You've heard of speed-dating ladies, but this is for a way more important cause-- your friendships!
What: Speed-Friending is an organized evening where women from
the Bay Area will participate in a guided process of fun and meaningful
sharing in multiple small groups to introduce women to potential new
friends. GirlFriendCircles CEO, Shasta Nelson, will guide women into
small groups of 3-4 women where each woman will have 2 minutes to share
her answer to a fun and easy sharing question before switching to
another small group, ensuring that in the course of the evening each
woman will be introduced to a much larger number of potential friends
in a meaningful and intentional way! And we'll pass along contact info
afterward for any potential friends you "clicked" where the feeling was
mutual! Come meet women who value expanding their circle of friends!
Why:
Shaking hands, thinking up conversation starters, working the crowd and
handing out business cards gets exhausting for most of us at some
point! Finally an event where you don't have to promote your company,
try to sell your product, make awkward small talk with strangers or
flirt at a meatmarket--No business, No romance--Just good ol' fashioned
platonic friendships with women who live and work in the Bay Area!
Who:
You are a woman who is a respected, admired, impressive, successful
go-getter, but most importantly you know how to be a good friend.
While you may know a lot of people, you recognize that you don't always
have that local group of girlfriends to do life with in fun and
meaningful ways. You don't want life to always be work, kids and others. You may have just moved here, perhaps you work from hom where it's hard to meet people or maybe you just went through a life change that reminds you the significance of girlfriends.... whatever the reason, if you value expanding your circle with the right friends, then we want to help! This event will successfully match women in their twenties, thirties and forties to the right people!
How: Buy your ticket for $25, includes one free drink, a great evening of laughter and fun and contact info for all matching potential girlfriends! Bring along a colleague, relative, friend and you each pay only $20 per ticket! (Note: Sept 20 is National Women's Friendship Day so this is a great gift for yourself or someone--maybe you and your best friend want to come together to meet more women to create a group friendship!)
